What Actually Drives the Timeline

Your date, not the calendar. A Saturday in late June books up faster than a Thursday in March, regardless of how far out you're planning. If you've picked a peak-season Saturday, treat the timeline as tighter than average.

Your region. Door County moves earliest, for the reason above. Green Bay, Waupaca, and the Fox Valley generally have more availability further out.

Capacity, not demand. Wedding films take real editing time after the day itself. A videographer taking one wedding per weekend simply can't stretch — which is why a date being taken is genuinely final rather than a negotiating position.
