Timeless films, made to be kept.

Cinematic wedding films for couples who want to remember how it truly felt, crafted in Door County and wherever your story takes you.

People gathered outdoors under white canopy tents, dressed in formal attire, likely at a wedding celebration, with tables decorated with flowers and candles.

The Approach

Not staged. Noticed.

The moments that matter most rarely announce themselves. A glance across the aisle. A laugh between old friends. The hush before the first kiss. I film with a calm, unobtrusive presence so you can stay fully in your day, and your film can hold onto every bit of it.

THE WORK

Featured Films

The woman on the left has blonde hair, the woman in the middle has dark hair, and the man on the right has dark curly hair. They are dressed formally, with the man wearing a tuxedo and the women in elegant dresses. The background is blurred with trees and bokeh lights.

THE FILMMAKER

Meet John

For more than nine years and over 100 celebrations, I've made films that couples return to for a lifetime. Door County has been part of my story since childhood, and now I get to tell other love stories along its shorelines. Every film is made with care, intention, and the belief that your day deserves to be remembered exactly as it was.

KIND WORDS

"John at Valley Films captured our wedding day so beautifully. It is such a special way to remember our day. We cherish the video and we have gotten a million compliments on it."
